Resin 3D printing is a process in which designers use photopolymer resin to make objects. When exposed to UV light, this liquid turns into plastic and creates 3 dimensional shapes! Some people think that epoxy resin is the same thing as 3D printing resin, but it's actually a different type of material. Gray is the most popular colour for printing 3d models, and it's no surprise why: Gray photopolymer resin offers a high surface detail and is extremely versatile.

You can find our range of resin products for resin 3D printers right here, we stock a huge range of colours perfect for any model!

How Does Resin 3D Printers Work?

SLA is the oldest form of 3D printing. It works by exposing a layer of photosensitive liquid resin to UV laser beams, which hardens in desired patterns and builds up until complete models are created with extremely fine detail.

Why Use Resin?

If you want to make large, three-dimensional pieces or need durable finishes for your prints, then a filament printer is the best option. If small models are what interests you and accuracy in recreation, then our suggestion would be resin printers which can produce accurate, higher resolution prints with a quality finish. Resin printers are used for different applications to filament printers, each have their own benefits.
